Oasis announced on Monday the band will tour the UK, mainland Europe, USA and Ireland in 2027
Oasis have today ended months of feverish speculation with the announcement they will return to the live stage in 2027. The news has finally been announced today, Monday, September 14, following speculation sparked by a spectacular drone display over Manchester.
The band’s iconic logo appeared in a huge 120-metre-long display above the city at around 11pm on Thursday, with the drones taking off from Manchester City’s women’s team home, the Joie Stadium. The dramatic teaser sent Oasis fans into a frenzy and fuelled speculation that Liam and Noel Gallagher were preparing to announce their return to the stage.
That speculation has now been confirmed. Oasis will tour the UK, mainland Europe, USA and Ireland in 2027.
The band said on Instagram at 4pm today: “After a period of reflection “The Most Damaging Pop Cultural Force In Recent British History” has declared itself fit for purpose and will once again return to lift the spirits of the people.
“Come witness the fitness. It shall be a sight to behold.”
The announcement is expected to generate enormous interest following the unprecedented demand for the band’s Live ’25 reunion tour. Around 14 million people reportedly attempted to buy tickets for band’s Live ’25 reunion tour, while more than 10 million fans from 158 countries joined online queues at peak times across ticketing platforms including Ticketmaster.
Only an estimated 1.4 million to 2.2 million tickets were available across the UK and Ireland dates, leaving millions of fans disappointed.
For Live ’25, tickets initially started at around £73 for basic seated positions, while general admission standing tickets were priced between approximately £135 and £151. Huge demand subsequently saw some tickets reach around £350.
