On The Fringe

17 October @ 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm
£1 – £3

What happens when you spend years performing at Fringe festivals, chasing the dream, collecting stories — and somehow remain permanently on the fringe of success?

In On The Fringe, Nicki Watts tells the story of an amazing journey through Fringe festivals around the country, culminating in the gold-medal experience itself: Edinburgh.

Each Fringe has a story, and each story has a poem. Expect funny moments, moving moments, unexpected turns and a few genuine “WTF?” moments along the way.

Part storytelling, part poetry, part memoir, On The Fringe is a celebration of the highs, lows, triumphs, disasters and sheer absurdity of trying to make your mark as a performer.

Come for the stories. Stay for the poetry. Find out what it really means to be on the fringe.
